VPNQT Help Center

First determine whether the issue involves your account, client or target app, then browse the relevant category. Expand an answer to read it, or submit a support ticket through the user dashboard if you need further help.

Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. If you already have an account, use it to check your subscription and orders.

Account & Subscriptions

Login credentials let you access the dashboard; a subscription link lets you import a configuration into a client. They serve different purposes, so check each separately. Don’t create another account or buy another plan to fix a configuration issue.

Do I need an email address to create an account? What should I do if I forget my password?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Save your credentials in a trusted password manager, and make sure the saved site is vpnqt.com. Since no email address is provided, email recovery should not be assumed to be the default way to restore access. If you’re still signed in on a device, keep that session open and describe the issue in a support ticket through the user dashboard. If you can no longer access the dashboard, check the recovery options shown on the login page. Don’t create multiple accounts to look for existing orders, and never share your password, subscription link or complete payment details in public comments or chats.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?

Sign in to the user dashboard and find the link in the subscription section of your account overview, then import it into the client for your platform. To refresh your routes, open the subscription or configuration management page in the client, locate the imported VPNQT configuration and update it. When the update is complete, confirm that the configuration is enabled, then select a route and reconnect. If the update fails, first check that your local network can open the user dashboard, and make sure the copied link contains no extra spaces or line breaks. Plan status, remaining data and the client’s route list are separate details; check them in the dashboard and client respectively. Don’t mistake a webpage address for a subscription link, or submit the link to an unfamiliar online conversion tool.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch computers or add a device?

VPNQT has no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so switching devices doesn’t require another plan. Supported platforms are Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On the new device, open the user dashboard to get the appropriate client and subscription, then follow the platform instructions to import the configuration and connect. The device limit describes which devices you can use; it does not mean your plan includes unlimited data. Check your plan status and data balance in the dashboard. Before preparing your old device, confirm that the new one connects successfully. If you’re giving the old device to someone else, sign out and remove any saved subscription configuration to prevent the link from leaving with the device.

My subscription link was exposed. Is changing my password enough?

Treat your subscription link like an access credential. Changing your login password does not necessarily invalidate an existing subscription link. If the link was shared publicly, exposed in a screenshot or imported into an unfamiliar tool, look for the subscription reset option in the user dashboard and follow the instructions. If you can’t find the option or aren’t sure whether the reset worked, confirm through a support ticket. After resetting, update the link on every device still in use, remove the old configuration and verify the connection again. Check your plan’s data usage during troubleshooting and tell support how the link was exposed. Before sharing a screenshot, hide the full credentials in the link. Don’t post a working link publicly to explain the issue.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check your underlying network, subscription configuration, system proxy and target app separately. Change one relevant setting at a time, and note what happens before and after each change to identify where the issue occurs.

The client says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. What should I check first?

Disconnect the client first and confirm that your local network can reach websites that normally work. If the underlying network is having issues, resolve those first. Then check in the user dashboard that your plan is active and has data available. Update the subscription and confirm that the VPNQT configuration is enabled. After reconnecting, try several websites to determine whether all access is failing or only one destination. Also check that the system proxy or any network permissions required by the client are enabled, and temporarily quit other proxy tools to prevent conflicting settings. A connected status only means the client has completed its connection process; it doesn’t confirm that the destination website, DNS resolution or app routing is working correctly.

Why can my browser connect, but a particular app still won’t use the proxy?

Apps can use different networking methods, so browser access doesn’t mean every app follows the system proxy. Check which configuration and routing mode the client is using, then see whether a rule excludes the app, whether the app has its own proxy settings, and whether the system has granted the client the required network permissions. If the client offers a global mode, switch to it temporarily and restart the app to compare. If that fixes the issue, switch back to rule mode and check which rule applies. For settings that route traffic through a virtual network interface, follow the instructions for your platform. Don’t run multiple network-routing tools at once, and don’t use a cached page in the app to determine whether its current route has changed.

An app still reports a region error after I switch routes. How can I check what’s wrong?

First confirm that the selected route has actually changed in the client. Then close and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an existing connection. If needed, sign out of the target service and sign in again, and check whether the app has a fixed proxy setting. Region checks can also depend on the account’s region, payment details, location permissions or the service’s policies, so the route name alone can’t predict the result. Keep other conditions unchanged while testing, and note the selected region, the page showing the error and the full message. VPNQT provides access to cross-border routes; whether a service makes a particular feature available depends on its own rules and the result after connecting.

Still can’t connect after troubleshooting? What information should I include in a support ticket?

When describing the issue in a ticket through the user dashboard, include your operating system, client name, local network type, selected route region, when the issue occurred and whether all websites are affected. List the steps you’ve already tried in order, such as updating the subscription, switching routes, restarting the app or changing local networks, rather than simply saying it doesn’t work. If there’s an error, include its exact text or a screenshot with sensitive details obscured. Before attaching logs, check them for usernames, subscription credentials or other sensitive information. Never send your password or a complete, active subscription link. Add any updates to the original ticket so support can track the issue in one place.

Speed & Routes

Choose routes based on the target region and how you’ll use them. Page loading, continuous playback and long-lived connections each have different performance needs. A connection status or single speed test can’t replace testing in everyday use.

Video streaming and webpages slow down during peak hours. How should I troubleshoot?

Pause downloads, cloud sync and other tasks that may be using your local network, then compare the connection with the client disconnected. Keep the destination website and device the same while comparing routes in different regions and route types. This can help show whether the issue affects all routes or only the current one. Avoid changing routing, DNS and network interception settings one after another, or it may be hard to tell which change made a difference. If switching local networks helps, check for congestion on the original network. If only one service is affected, note the specific page and error. A support ticket with the time of the issue and your comparison results is more useful for diagnosing peak-time performance than a single speed-test screenshot.

How should I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

Route types describe the connection path; the name alone can’t predict performance in every network environment. IEPL uses a dedicated link path, a relay connects to the exit through an intermediate node, and a direct route uses a more direct connection. Actual performance can still depend on your local carrier, time of day and destination service. Start by choosing the exit region you need, then compare routes using the same device, destination and similar conditions. For everyday work, check page responsiveness and whether long-lived connections remain stable. For video, look for repeated buffering during playback. See the global servers page for route type descriptions. The options currently available in your client are shown in its route list after you update the subscription.

How many countries and routes are available? Should I always choose the nearest region?

VPNQT covers 120+ countries / 190+ routes. Geographic distance can be a useful starting point, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the network path is shorter or that a destination service will perform better. First check which regions the service supports, then compare how your local network performs when connecting through the relevant exits. For work that requires a persistent sign-in, keep the exit region relatively stable once you’ve confirmed it works. Frequent switching may trigger additional checks from the service. The coverage information shows which regions may be available; it doesn’t mean every region works with every website. Check the client’s route list after updating your subscription for route names and current availability.

If a route connects, can I use every AI tool and streaming service?

A working route and access to a particular service are separate things. AI tools may check the exit region, account eligibility and their own risk controls. Streaming services may restrict content based on the account region, licensing and current exit. Check the service’s own requirements, select a suitable region in the client and test access. If you see a sign-in check, missing content or a playback error, note the service, route region and error instead of assuming the subscription has expired. For apps that are sensitive to ongoing sessions, keep the exit stable after confirming access. VPNQT’s route coverage does not guarantee that every platform or region’s content will always be available.

Billing & Refunds

Check the orders and plan records on your account before troubleshooting payment, upgrades or refunds. Monthly plans and data packs use data differently, so review each option before choosing.

How does a monthly plan work, when does data reset, and what happens if I upgrade?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Choose a plan based on your actual usage, whether that’s everyday browsing, extended video streaming or file transfers. An unlimited number of devices does not mean unlimited data. Before upgrading, check the plan status and result shown with your order in the user dashboard. Don’t assume the price difference converts into extra data or a fixed extension. If the client’s route list doesn’t seem to match the plan information in the dashboard, update your subscription first. For billing or upgrade questions, submit the relevant order details in a support ticket.

How do data packs differ from monthly plans, and which should I choose?

Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until the data is used and never expire. Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. The main difference is how you use the data, not which devices are supported. Before choosing, consider whether you use the service regularly or might go a long time without using it, then check the options available in the user dashboard. “Never expires” describes the validity of the data pack; it doesn’t mean you can keep using the service after the data runs out. If you already have a monthly plan and want to know how switching or another action will affect it, check through a support ticket rather than assuming data can be combined or converted.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan hasn’t appeared after payment?

VPNQT accepts Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. After paying, return to the user dashboard and check the order status and plan on your account. Don’t assume activation is complete just because the payment page has closed. If you can see the payment but the dashboard hasn’t updated, first confirm you’re signed in to the account used to place the order, then refresh the order page. Don’t submit the same payment again just because the result isn’t visible yet, and don’t send funds to an address outside the order flow. If you need help checking the payment, open a ticket in the user dashboard and include the order details, payment method and a redacted payment receipt. Hide account information that isn’t relevant to the check while keeping the transaction details needed to identify the payment.

How do I request a refund, and what should I include in my support ticket?

VPNQT offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user dashboard, open the support ticket section, state clearly that you’re requesting a refund and include the order details and payment method to be checked. See the Terms of Service for the full applicable terms. You don’t need to complete route troubleshooting before requesting a no-questions-asked refund; troubleshooting advice is not a prerequisite. If you’d like to describe the issue, you can include that information too, so support can distinguish billing checks from technical troubleshooting. Never share your password, an active subscription link or an unredacted payment screenshot publicly. Check for updates in the original ticket after submitting your request. The ticket and order records are the source of truth for its progress and outcome.
